Meet our team
Chief executive officer-
Sunny Kutcher is the CEO of Young Americans Against Socialism, which has been a blessing and honor to be a part of instill a passion for freedom in millions of people around the world.
She was born and raised in the suburbs of New York and has always had a passion for liberty, history, and individualism. Strong American values and worldviews were instilled in her by her freedom-loving father and her mother, who immigrated from France because she was so drawn to the American Dream, and an opportunity for success.
From a young age, Sunny would debate her classmates with conviction on topics such as American independence and the benefits of free market economics. After graduating from New York University with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, Sunny relocated to Los Angeles. She became involved with grassroots campaigns, conservative activism, and fundraising in order to restore law and order to one of America’s most beautiful cities that has been destroyed by detrimental radical left policies.
She believes it is incredibly important to understand the horrors of socialism to ensure America remains free. Sunny is honored to be sharing cornerstone American values with families across the country and reaching young patriots of the rising generations with our message of freedom.

YAAS is founded on the idea that those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it. A majority of Young Americans would now choose Socialism over Capitalism. Socialism has failed every single time it has been tried in our world’s history, and it would destroy the future of the United States too.
-
In order to save our country from the horrors of socialism, YAAS is launching an all out social media attack against socialism. 90% of young Americans are on social media. We are bringing the educational content to them. We travel the country filming the stories of people who have escaped from socialism and turn these stories into powerful, emotional videos that will expose young Americans to the reality of socialism.
-
Socialism has failed at every attempt in our world’s history. Socialism leads to economic catastrophe, political crisis, starvation, death, and the destruction of freedom. The growing support for socialism puts the future United States at risk, and that is why we started YAAS.
-
There are plenty of Democrats who believe in the YAAS cause. The problem is that the socialists and far Left of the party are shutting down any opposition to the socialist movement. This year at the California Democratic Convention, two Democrats had the courage to get on stage and tell the crowd that socialism is not the answer, and they were booed for 60 seconds straight. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez then took to Twitter to tell those men to get off the stage.
The behavior of the far Left and the Democrat’s embrace of socialism is going to result in serious repercussions. One man we interviewed for a video escaped Cuba and came to the United States, became a Democrat, and then was horrified to see his party embrace the dangerous and deadly ideology of socialism.
-
Nordic socialism is not a viable option for the United States because it is a farce. Nordic leaders have begged the American far Left to stop calling their countries socialist. Nordic countries have huge government programs that they are only able to pay for with the wealth created by their capitalist economies.
The American socialists prey on the fact that young Americans are not properly educated on socialism, and they sell them the idea that if we scrap capitalism and replace it with socialism, we will end up like Europe. In reality, we would actually end up like Venezuela.
-
Socialism is often referred to as the step required between capitalism and communism. That’s because socialism has an economic core, where the government controls the means of production and the economy. The economic crisis created under socialism forces the people to be reliant on one thing: government. Once socialism destroys an economy, it opens the country up to corruption and political crisis, paving the way for communism, where the government makes the decisions for all issues, not just economic.
-
If young Americans knew the truth about socialism, they would not support it. That’s why YAAS is dedicated to bringing them the truth. We criss-cross the country interviewing and filming the stories of people who have escaped the true hell of Socialism.
-
YAAS is rooted in the idea that those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Our education system did not teach today’s youth about the dangers, failures, and historic atrocities of socialism. Now when socialist politicians promise to make everything free, to make society more fair and equal by “taxing the rich,” they think it’s a great idea. That is why a majority of young Americans would now choose socialism over capitalism.
